The Peninsula is located on your left as you're coming over the James Island Connector from downtown (directly behind Lowe's). The stop light at Ellis Oak Drive provides easy access to Folly Road, since this is one of the busiest streets on James Island. The Peninsula was originally built as apartments in 2001, but the buildings were converted to condos a few years later. The Peninsula condo regime fees are also quite steep, with prices ranging from about $236 to $475 per month (the HOA is currently working on getting these lower).
